Ann Marie Awori
With more than seven years of dedicated service as an international school board member, Ann Marie brings a wealth of experience to the table. Her tenure includes five years as the Chair of the Board of Directors, during which she also assumed the roles of Secretary and Governance Chair. Ann Marie’s leadership extends to guiding various ad hoc committees and task forces, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing the international school experience.
As a parent with three children who have been part of the international school system for over a decade, Ann Marie places paramount importance on ensuring that these institutions have access to the best resources and educational philosophies to prepare all children for a successful future.
In addition to her extensive involvement in the international school community, Ann Marie has over seven years of public service, focusing on asylum law and immigration policy, both in the United States and overseas. She has also served as Secretary on a private sector board in the U.S.
Ann Marie graduated from theĀ University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Her multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable asset to Board To Board and the international school community.
